My experience with Hume Dental Clinic has been fantastic! I see Dr Amjid for a dental checkup every 6 months like clockwork. I get a convenient reminder to attend my appointment, I show up to the clinic and am greeted with a warm smile from the friendly staff. Wait times are short - within a few minutes I’m whisked away to start the procedure. Here’s why I keep coming back to Hume Dental Clinic. Dr Amjid already knows my history before the start of the procedure. At the start of the appointment he inquired about my general health condition as well as new developments specific to my teeth. Throughout the procedure he takes particular care to explain what he is doing, why he is doing it, and that I’m comfortable. At the end of the procedure he recounts his observations about the health of my teeth and then explains how my general health and the health of my teeth are connected and what I can do to ensure both remain in good stead moving forward. I wish all health professionals cared this much about their patients! I recommend Hume Dental to everyone!

I have been attending the clinic for 15+ years. I used to suffer from terrible anxiety as a child whenever I turned up to get my teeth cleaned. At my very first visit, the reception staff pushed back the appointment to give me space and brought me some water. They were kind and friendly. My dentist took the time to slowly talk through the process with me to make sure I was comfortable and cared enough to do so every appointment afterwards until I was able to overcome my fear. I felt respected and received excellent dental care. I still attend this clinic as an adult having moved out of home and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Would highly recommend.

My wife Kien, our daughter Susan and I have been patients of Dr Amjid Muhammed since before he started his own practice, now many years ago. He is a very kind, knowledgeable and skilled Dentist. His staff also are of the highest calibre. He and his staff have maintained consistently high best practice standards throughout our many years of seeing him. We attend his practice at least every 6 months. He is a fine and moral man and he has a great, caring practice. He maintains the highest standards in all he does in his profession, in his family and in the community.

It was worth driving down to Fawkner from Geelong for my checkup. Such a professional and welcoming staff. Dr Akib is absolutely a great person and suggested the best for my treatment. Happy to find perfect people for my dental treatment.

Amjid and all the staff there are absolutely amazing. I just had my braces removed yesterday 22/3/18 after 9 months and I am so happy with the result. Everyone is lovely to deal with and getting reminders about any appointments the day before is fantastic. In particular with my experience thus far (and I will continue to go back) I was never made to wait long and was seen to just after my appointment time. Deserves 6 stars. Living in Sth Melbourne and driving to Fawkner is not ideal but would not go anywhere else. Thank you, thank you thank you!!!
